St. Kitts Nevis Defence Force Band brings Christmas cheers

Dec. 15, 2010 – The St. Kitts Nevis Defence Force Band is spreading the Joy of Christmas through music.
On Wednesday 8th December 2010 the Band hosted an evening of Christmas music at “In the Spirit of Christmas” at the Circus, Basseterre and on Sunday 12th December 2010 the Band visited the Grange Nursing Home and Health Care Facility in Ottleys.
According to a news release from the St. Kitts Nevis Defence Force Public Affairs Officer, the residents were very appreciative, some sang along and even danced to the music which included Fanfare Prelude on “Joy To The World” and La Paloma.

Sunday 19th December 2010 – 5 p.m. – The Cardin Home, St. Johnston Village
Monday 20th December 2010 – 7 p.m. – The Pogson Medical Center, Sandy Point
The Recitals display the versatility of the St. Kitts-Nevis Defence Force Band and highlights the musical talents of the Youths as they display their vast array of musical skills in bringing Christmas cheer and joy to the Federation.
