St. Kitts to Host 45th Annual CDB Board of Governors Meeting

(ZIZ News) — St. Kitts will host the 45th Annual Meeting of the Caribbean Development Bank [CDB] Board of Governors, next week, at the Marriott Resort.

The meeting, which officially gets underway on May 17th, will feature a Vybzing Youth Forum on May 13th. The official activities will run until May 21st.

On the line-up are the 16th William G. Demas Memorial Lecture, the opening ceremony on May 20th, a cultural evening and a closing ceremony.

Two seminars have also been added to the itinerary. They will address making regional air transport work better for the Caribbean and the imperative of youth employment for sustainable development.

Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, the Hon. Dr. Timothy Harris, leads the team as Chairman.

The Board of Governors is the highest policy making body of the CDB and meets once a year in one of the member countries.
