St. Pauls Tufff Knotts defeat SP Pride Kings to book spot in National Bank New Attitude Premier Basketball Finals

The St. Kitts Nevis Anguilla National Bank New Attitude Premier Basketball Semi-final playoffs continued on Sunday.

Defending Champs number four seed St. Pauls Tufff Knotts booked their place to the finals when they defeated the number one seed Sandy point Pride Kings.

In the first game on Sunday, Inner City Conquerors defeated Rams Hitters 83 to 65.

For Inner City, Livan Lee scored 34 points, made 20 rebounds,4 assists,5 steals, and 3 blocks,Troy Wattley made 21 points,10 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals. While for Hitters Daryl Lewis scored 17 points, made 5 steals with 2 rebounds and Tyrone Hutchinson scored 16 points, made 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 5 steals.

In the second game St. Pauls Tuff Knotts defeated Sandy Point Pride Kings 68 to 56.

For Tuff Knotts, Nashorn Maynard made 19 points, 2 assists, 29 rebounds, and 5 blocks. Demaine Rawlins made 18 points and 16 rebounds.

For Pride Kings Chavez Belboda scored 20 points, made 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals while Taslyn Hodge made 11 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists.

The playoffs continue on Tuesday with two games.

In the first game Youth and Sports Eagles will take on ASC Jay Hawks At 6:30pm then in the second game Rams Hitters will go up against Inner City Conquerors at 8 pm. The winners of this game will meet Tuff Knotts in the Premier Division finals which are scheduled for next Sunday.
