Stafanie Taylor, Sulieman Benn named WI players of the year

Kingston, Jamaica — Jamaican Stafanie Taylor and Barbadian Sulieman Benn were named West Indies female and male players of the year, respectively.

The announcement was made at the West Indies ‎Cricket Board (WICB)/West Indies Players Association (WIPA) third annual Players’ Award ceremony at the Jamaica Pegasus in Kingston, a short while ago.

Taylor was winning the award for the ninth consecutive time, while Benn was winning the award for the first time.

Another Jamaican, Jermaine Blackwood, was named emerging player of the year.
