Sports Page — Monday 3rd June 2013 — The action in the local Netball league hosted by the Nevis Netball Association continued on the evening of Saturday 1st June at the Grell Hull -Stevens Netball Complex

In game one, Stoney Grove Untouchables totally dominated the Pioneers team.

3rd quarter—Stoney Grove 31 Pioneers 14
4th quarter—Stoney Grove 40 Pioneers 16

Match two seemed like a walk in the Park for the Bath United team as by the third quarter they were leading Dynamics Elite with a score line of 29 to 16.

So confident were they, that ace goal shooter Shantel Isles, took to the bench for the fourth quarter and two totally different shooters were placed on duty.

Dynamics Elite used the opportunity to create quite some drama, as they totally dominated the final quarter. So dominant were they, that as the seconds ran out, a concerned looking Isles seemed to be getting ready to suit up to get back on court.

In that final quarter, Dynamics Elite sank all of 13 goals to Bath United’s 4. The energy and determination of the Dynamics team certainly endeared them to the lively crowd on hand, but it was a case of too little too late.
