Stoney Grove Arrests Police and Highlights Dounces Bronx

Sports Page — September 30 2013 — As the Legends’ cup series of Football matches continued at the ET Willet Park on Saturday 28th the sizeable crowd was treated to a goal feast of sorts.

In match one; POLSTARS (POLICE) had no response to the dominating Slybo Stoney Grove Strikers.

By the time the final whistle was blown, the score line was a whopping 10 goals to nil in favour of the Stoney Grove team.

In match two, the Brantley Bronx United suffered a similar fate versus the SL Horsfords Highlights team. It could have been a lot worst, had not the Highlights team bungled several goal scoring opportunities in the early exchanges of the game, with the Bronx goalie making it a habit of defending with his boots, instead of holding the ball with his hands.

At the end of the game, the final score line was SL Horsfords Highlights 5 Brantley Bronx United 0.
