Sugar Mas 42 Street Parade Results

(ZIZ)— The Small Axe Band has taken the 2013 2014 Road March title with their song “Hardware”.

Carnival Committee Chairman Sylvester Anthony made the announcement yesterday morning on ZIZ Radio.

He also announced that Fhunn Vybes Colour Me Happy won Troup of the Year and takes away a Twenty Five Thousand dollar prize.

They scored 361 points.

Second place went to Banker’s Mas Camp’s Natures Fury with 353 points.  They won Eighteen Thousand dollars.

Solid SKB grabbed the Fifteen Thousand dollar prize for third place with 338 points.  And Phunn Makers Mas Camp takes fourth place with 306 points…nabbing the Eleven Thousand dollar prize.

Queen of the Bands went to Nature’s Fury’s Tsunami played by Jonelle Rawlins Drew…and King of the Bands went to Rainbow Fantasy played by Kajali Hanley Gumbs.

Individual Old Mas winner went to Stacy Hobson

The winner of the J’ouvert Troupes was Hawaiian Devils Red Devils with 295 points.  First runner is Extreme J’ouvert Troupe – 271 points and there was a tie for second runner up — Mas Jumbies Sugar Warriors, and Small Axe Shiggidy Shack with 266 points.
