Sugar Mas 48 Soca Monarch Semi- Finalists Revealed

12 Power and 12 Groovy Semi- Finalists have been announced following the Sugar Mas 48 SOCA Monarch Eliminations on Friday November 29 2019.
In the Power segment, Bary-C emerged in the top spot scoring a total of 200 points with his song “A Looking Me Wife”.
Soca Empress followed closely, scoring a total of 190 points with the song, “Mad a Road”. Other semi-finalists moving to the next round include, BMWA, Delly Ranks, Mr. Bagnall, L.A.X, K.T Dan, Mr. Hype, Jeezy Sparta, Jaren the Musicman, Steal and Nickhail. Mighty Honesty is the alternate.
In the Groovy segment K.O emerged at the top after scoring a total of 311 points with the song, “Love and Alcohol”.
K.T Dan and Dejour both scored 304 points with their songs, “Intox City and “Wata” respectively. The remaining Power semi-finalists include Jeezy Sparta, Blade, Nickhail, Lil Miss, L.A.X, Mr. Hype, Luscious, Ras Kelley and BMWA. Soca Empress is the alternate.
The Semi- Finalists will go head to head during the Semi-Finals on Friday December 13 2019.
The finalists will then compete at the National Carnival Soca Monarch Finals on Tuesday December 24 2019.
