(ZIZ)– SUNfest 2014, dubbed the premiere daytime event of the St. Kitts Music Festival experience, was launched on Thursday at the historic Independence Square.
Senior Partner of Gurus Maniacs and Sages [GMS] Multimedia, Dr. Garfield Alexander said SUNfest offers the entire St. Kitts experience in one event, leading up to the music festival.
He said, “SUNfest basically adds to the music festival experience in that when you come to the music festival you expect more than just a super concert in the night. You want to experience St. Kitts, you want to experience what St. Kitts has to offer as well as the great performances that music festival offers and that’s what SUNfest does.”
According to Dr. Alexander, the three-day event promises to infuse the already high energy environs with cultural expression, food, music and games.
“Come and experience what St. Kitts and music festival is all about…a lot of national acts. So you will basically come into Independence Square and see, feel, taste, eat, smell St. Kitts on a whole. We will make it an annual event and we are inviting everyone else to come in and help us make it an annual event,” he added.
Performances at SUNfest are expected to include Crucial Bankie, Green House Band and the Okolo Dancers among others.
