‘Sword’ Killing Update

ZIZ News…June 3rd, 2013 — Police have taken one person into custody in connection with the killing of Sheldon Cannonier on Sunday afternoon.

The police did not say if they were looking for any more persons; however, they did confirm that one person has been taken in for questioning.

They say the autopsy will be done shortly and the results made public.

Sheldon Cannonier, better known as Sword, was walking along a road in Lime Kiln Development when he was shot several times.

His body collapsed outside The Good News Baptist Church.

He died on the scene.

Investigations into this incident are ongoing.
