Basseterre, St. Kitts, 15th March, 2023 (ZIZ News)— As the St. Christopher National Trust embarks on a journey of digitization, The Republic of China Taiwan has assisted in the endeavor with the donation of a television, which was handed over during the opening of a new exhibition on Wednesday, 15th March, 2023.

Resident Ambassador of the Republic of China Taiwan His Excellency Michael Lin said Taiwan is pleased to donate to the National Trust as it undertakes the important work of preserving the nation’s history.

This small token from the embassy is just a little gestures to showcase our goodwill and our friendship with St. Kitts and Nevis. We know that the National Trust, the most important organization of this country to preserve the history and the culture of this great country and Taiwan, the partner of this beautiful island country, we are very happy to give just a little contribution to National Trust. So this just one of it, but I believe in the future we’ll have more to contribute.”

Executive Director of the St. Christopher National Trust Etsu Bradshaw- Caines thanked the Republic of China Taiwan for the donation.

“Your Excellency, we at the St. Christopher National Trust are grateful to you and your embassy, sir for your generosity to us, especially in the National Museum. We cherish this priceless partnership.”

The newly donated television is mounted overhead the recently opened exhibition of the federation’s past and present Governors-General and former Governors.
