Taiwan Folk Sports Troupe celebrates nation’s Centennial Anniversary in St. Kitts

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, MAY 12TH 2011 (CUOPM) – A 32-member Taiwanese Folk Sports Troupe from the Keelung Junior High School will perform in the twin-island Federation next week.

Resident Ambassador of the Republic of China (Taiwan), His Excellency Miguel Tsao, said the visit is in celebration of the 100 Centennial Anniversary of the Founding of the Republic of China (Taiwan) and its 28-year Diplomatic Relations between the Federation of the St. Kitts and Nevis and the Republic of China (Taiwan).

The first performance on Monday 23rd May is at the Auditorium of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) and will be by invitation only.

The second performance at the Silver Jubilee Stadium is open to students of schools and members of the general public from 3:00 P.M. to 4:30 P.M.
