ZIZ News….June 26 2013–Locals are getting a taste of Taiwan Technology at a trade fair this week at The Royal St.Kitts Hotel.

And as we hear in this report the goal is also to develop long term benefits for local companies.

Thirty delegates from Taiwan, The Usa, and Saint Martin are showing off their products at a two-day trade fair this week.

From LCD monitors to Housewares, the booths are giving locals a sample of products from companies they may have never heard of before.

Four local companies are also manning booths at the fair.

Minister of International Trade the Hon Richard Skerritt noted that this is a good opportunity for local businesses to network with the visiting companies.

Prime Minister the right Hon Dr Denzil Douglas said he expects that there would be future opportunities for local and Taiwanese businesses to work together and learn from each other.

Plaques were also presented to Resident Ambassador his Excellency Miguel Tsao, Governor General, Sir Edmund Lawrence and other dignitaries for their support of international trade between both countries.
