Taiwanese Youtuber in St. Kitts

Ben Wu is on a mission to visit all of Taiwan’s diplomatic allies around the world.

So far he has visited 11 countries and he’s currently visiting St. Kitts for a few days.

Taiwanese Youtuber Ben Wu is an ex soldier who decided he would visit Taiwan’s allies and document his travels for his Youtube channel “Ben’s Adventure”.

At present, 17 states recognize Taiwan over Mainland China and Ben’s inspiration came after realizing that some of these countries were not known the average Taiwanese person.

ZIZ News caught up with Ben at the Taiwanese Mission at Needsmust where he told us about why he decided to embark on this adventure.

Ben said in each country he stays with a local family to really appreciate the culture and people.

His first stop on his visit to St. Kitts was to the War Memorial, followed by the Berkley Memorial in downtown Basseterre.

Ben said he is interested in seeing places of interest while in St. Kitts but was looking forward to finding one specific thing in town on Friday.

Ben spoke of his plans when the adventure is over and he returns to Taiwan.

Ben said while he has support from the Taiwanese government and the embassies in each country he has visited, his trip is in no way politically motivated and he is funding the adventure on his own.

From St. Kitts he will be visiting St. Lucia, St. Vincent, Belize, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Honduras and Holy See.
