Taking Carnival Fever Outside of Basseterre
(ZIZ)— The National Carnival Committee is taking carnival fever outside of Basseterre with a “Bar Crawl” next week.
According to Kesha Archibald of the Calypso Soca Monarch Sub-Committee, they’ll be promoting the soca finalists at various bars around the island.
She says, “It’s an event that the Carnival Committee has put together to put carnival outside of Basseterre and we see that as an opportunity to showcase the soca artists. It’s going to happen the day after the semi-finals so we thought it would be a good time for the semi-finalists to get some exposure.”
The island wide bar crawl takes place on Saturday, December 7th.
