Talent Search Contributes to Youth Development

HonGlenPhiilipInOfficeAZIZ News — Minister of Sports, Information Technology and Youth, the Honourable Glenn Phillip has commended the Rotary Club of Liamigua for its contribution to the development of talent in the Federation.

Minister Phillip said that through the competition young people are able to develop self confidence.

“For the last ten years this talent search competition has discovered talents our talented pearls of great prize that would have otherwise lay untapped and undiscovered. I am proud to say that you rotary, rotarians, continue to meet the needs of our young people of St Kitts and Nevis through your talent search initiative our young people develop self confidence they discover who they are through the achievements that stem from participation and winning the individual categories,” he clearly stated.

Phillip also said that the event is much more than a competition for the youth of St. Kitts and Nevis.

“The Rotary Club of Liamigua Talent Search Competition is much more than songs and dances and the effects of this event ripple further into the hearts and lives of our people than we would ever believe.” Honourable Glenn Phillip.
