Tape Ball League intriguingly poised

Monday, 13th January is going to be a big day in the ongoing tale ball Cricket league being hosted by the Nevis Sports Department and sponsored by the Development Bank of St. Kitts and Nevis.

The second match of the evening will see Empire in a must win situation versus Police, in order to secure a semi final spot in zone A.

If Police wins the game, they will tie with Easterns on 4 points and force a tie breaker between the two teams. However, Empire can solve the problem quite easily by winning and moving to 5 points.

SDA Jets have already gone through to the semis as they are out front in zone A with 6 points.

Zone B is also interestingly positioned  with Bush Wackers creating an upset of sorts by easily securing a semi final berth as they are clear with points.

It could come down to an exciting contest between Highlights and Pennyless All stars for the other zone B semi final spot.
