TDC Continues With Its Annual Think Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign

The TDC Group of Companies partnered with a team of certified and trained health professionals to provide access to free breast screenings for women and men on Saturday.

The Pinktober theme was well noticeably upon arrival at the Home and Building Centre as the area was decorated with pink balloons, pink ribbons and posters signifying the breast cancer awareness campaign.

While at the screening, general practitioner, Dr. Dounice Hughes says both men and women are encouraged to get screened. She also used the opportunity to highlight some of the risk factors that contribute to breast cancer development.

ZIZ spoke with marketing assistant at the TDC client relations and marketing department, Dominic Mathew who said that will be placed on their Pinktober theme during the month of October.

He also said quite a number of activities are planned including various Pinktober sales and promotions to commemorate breast cancer awareness month.

The TDC Group of Companies began its breast cancer health screening programme in 2012 as part of its community outreach programmes.

The screenings are held every Saturday in the TDC Home and Building Depot from 10am to 12pm.
