TDC’s “Sing It To Win It” Competition Prize Giving Ceremony
Basseterre, St. Kitts, September 6, 2020 (ZIZ News):As part of their back to school promotion the Trading and Development Corporation Ltd (TDC) Business Center hosted a singing competition for students 7-17 years old where they sang TDC’s back to school jingle and posted it to their Facebook page.
The winner was selected based on the person with the most likes, shares and comments.
In a prize giving ceremony held at the TDC Business Center on Friday, winner of the competition, Lesaraniqua Morton-Phipps of Dieppe Bay Primary School received a new Lenovo laptop for amassing 3,074 likes for her submission.
The runner up, Dejhanee Moses of St. Paul’s Primary School received a Hyundai tablet for her submission receiving 2, 564 likes.
Manager at TDC Business Center, Evris Huggins lauded the children for their creative submissions.
“Those videos exceeded our expectations, you guys were just so creative and it captures the very essence of what TDC is about. TDC is a community company and we’re also about creativity.”
Other participants received school bags, Bluetooth speakers and headphones.
In total all the submissions garnered over 16, 000 views on TDC Business Center’s Facebook Page.
