(ZIZ News) — The Team Unity Administration held a breakfast treat at The Old Treasury Building on the Bay Road in downtown Basseterre on Saturday morning.
The breakfast event formed part of the Unity Government’s Anniversary Week of Activities to commemorate its 2nd year in office.
While present at the breakfast, Prime Minister Dr. The Hon. Timothy Harris took the opportunity to thank all persons who came out and supported the breakfast.
“I want to thank all of those who came out early and gave their fullest support. I want to thank all the caterers from all across the country for their donations to this event and the Chairperson for this event, Shirley Julius. I want to thank her for once again stepping up to the plate and doing a wonderful job”, he said.
Prime Minister Harris said although this past week was hectic, the activities were all worth the hassle.
“The week so far has been excellent. The reviews have been great. We feel that we have made a tremendous positive impact during the course of this week in getting the message out that Team Unity is a government at work and working hard on delivering excellently on behalf of the people so I feel real satisfied. It has been a very challenging week, very hectic but well worth the effort”, Prime Minister Harris stated.
The Team Unity alliance won the February 16th, 2015 general elections, paving the way for the honourable Dr. Timothy Harris to become the third Prime Minister of St. Kitts And Nevis.
The week of activities are being held under the theme, “Good Governance and Accountability for Prosperity”.
