Team Unity coalition hosts virtual manifesto launch

Basseterre, St. Kitts, June 2, 2020 (ZIZ News): Team Unity hosted its Manifesto Launch at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort on Monday, June 1.

The virtual Manifesto launch formed part of the Coalition’s virtual campaign held each night under the theme, “Stronger, Safer Future”.

During his presentation at the launch, Dr. Hon. Timothy Harris said the 2020 Team Unity Manifesto is an all-inclusive blueprint for the continuous development of St. Kitts and Nevis.

“Our manifesto represents a people-centric manifesto covering every area of human endeavor including agriculture, climate change, housing, relationship between the Federal entity and the Nevis Island Administration, the good governance agenda, law and justice, tourism, financial services, manufacturing, ICT and we could go on and on,” he said.

During the launch, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Hon. Shawn Richards used the opportunity to announce that there are also plans in place to improve the education sector.

Throughout the evening, plans were also revealed for the development of a National Theatre and a new Ministry with focus on Entertainment, Entrepreneurship and Talent Development in the Federation.
