Teen arrested for latest homicide

ZIZ News…April 19 2012 — The support and confidence of the Community has resulted in a major success of Police Operations.

Inspector Smithen of the Criminal Investigations Department has reported that within the first 24 hours of the murder of Jermaine Browne formal charges has been laid against a young male of Fort Thomas Road Basseterre St. Kitts.

The Commissioner of Police is pleased with the support given to this agency by the General Public. Commissioner Walwyn has recently ensured through training that the professional levels of service by this agency has improved and endeavours to ensure that officers are effective and efficient when called out in all serious crimes as It is imperative of us to ensure that the safety and security is maintained within the federation.

Though we have been successful in detection of the two homicides in the past 48 Hours we have developed additional security and safety logistics. We therefore ask for your continued cooperation as we continue to ensure that the streets of the Federation are returned to the civic minded citizens.
