The Grange Celebrates 19th Anniversary

The Grange Health Care Facility celebrated 19 years of serving the nation’s elderly with an open day on Wednesday 14th August.

The Grange is a purpose built residential and nursing care home that has cared for hundreds of the federation’s elderly over the past 19 years.

The nursing facility opened its doors to persons wishing to visit the residents and find out more about the institution.

ZIZ News stopped by the grange and spoke with registered nurse consultant and owner of the grange Pat Richards- Leader who said she was pleased that they are able to celebrate another successful year.

She spoke of how they were celebrating the facility’s 19th anniversary.

When asked what has contributed to the success of The Grange, Mrs. Richards- Leader said the well being of the residents has always been a top priority.

She spoke of how the grange has expanded over the years.

Mrs. Richards-Leader said while it has been hard work, the celebration of another year shows the possibilities of caring for the elderly.

At present there are 35 residents at the grange.

According to its website, The Grange offers services including nursing and residential care, convalescent care, as well as facilitating training of nurses and care assistants.
