The Junior Calypso Monarch Finalists Revealed

Basseterre, St. Kitts, December 16, 2019 (ZIZ News): Following a night of eliminations held at the Dr. William Connor Primary School on Sunday December 15, 7 young calypsonians will vie for the National Carnival Junior Calypso title next week.

De Herald came out in the top spot with the song, ‘Big Trouble”, scoring a total of 360 points.

Princess Chrissy followed closely with the song, “They Are Crying Out”, scoring a total of 340 points.

The other finalists include Lega- Z – 330 points, Princess Mani – 321 points, Princess E –Liz – 319 points, D Almighty Child – 316 points and Mighty D with 304  points.

Lady Sunshine is the alternate.

The Junior Calypso (Teens) Tent was also held that same night.

The young calypsonians will now battle for the crown at the National Carnival Junior Calypso finals on Sunday December 22 at Warner Park.
