The Rotaract Club of St. Kitts hosts Breakfast Retreat for the Cardin Home

ZIZ News…Sept 22 2011 – In keeping with its year long theme to “reach out and embrace humanity”, the Rotaract Club of St. Kitts celebrated National Heroes Day, September 16th 2011, with the residents of the Cardin Home.

The youth arm of Rotary hosted a Breakfast Retreat for over seventy five (75) persons who enjoyed a delicious spread that included elements of the National dish and a fresh fruit platter, prepared, and served by its members.

Immediately following the feast, the holiday was spent in fellowship, in an atmosphere filled with laughter, as well as, entertainment, much to the delight of the appreciative men and women who were grateful for the opportunity to be recognized as ‘heroes and sheroes’ of the thoughtful gesture.

The management team of the Health Care Facility that warmly welcomed the idea to organize the project, expressed gratitude to club for ensuring that the activity remains a fixture on its calendar to observe the contributions of its many residents to the Community.
