The true meaning and Spirit of Christmas was all around the Circus

ZIZ News…Dec. 7, 2010 – A wide cross section of the St. Kitts public got a feeling for Christmas when various groups performed at the Circus to usher in the season.
In the Spirit of Christmas officially started last night when the Minister with responsibility for culture the Hon Marcella Liburd delivered a short address to signal the start of five nights of singing and poetry surrounding the Christmas season.
Those in attendance got the true Christmas spirit with the melodious voices coming from various groups such as Social Services, Community Development and Community Affairs, the Early Childhood Development Sports Club and the Tequilla Group.
The true meaning of Christmas was also told through a Sermonette delivered by Pastor Cyprian Williams.
As part of the night’s program the 2010 Talented Teen contestants and National Carnival Queen contestants delivered selections much to the delight of the fair sized crowd at the Circus.
In the Spirit of Christmas continues each evening at seven thirty and will be carried live on ZIZ Radio and streamed on the World Wide Web.
