Thousands Take to the Streets for Nevis Culturama Long Jam

Thousands of revelers took to the streets of Nevis for the annual Long Jam or Culturama Jouvert Jam on Monday morning.

The revelers were seen jamming to the sounds of Kore and Ultra Sonics out of Nevis, the Nu Vybes Band International and the Grand Masters Band out of St. Kitts.

The Emancipation day event gives bands the opportunity to perform their songs on the road as they compete for the 2019 Culturama Road March title.

The festivities continue with the annual Culturama Cultural Parade on Tuesday August 6 2019.

The Nevis Culturama festival is being held under the theme, “Love Passion Pride Culturama 45”.
