Three young men arrested for assault with intent to rob

ZIZ News…May 30, 2012 — Three young men are facing charges after there part in robbing three residents in Frigate Bay on Saturday, May 12, 2012.

According to a Police report they have been charged with assault with intent to rob three residents of Frigate Bay.

The three men are 19-year-old Ryan ‘Flyboy’ Warner, Bernell Whyte (21) and 22-year-old Audinton Syder of McKnight.

Press and Public Information Officer (PIO) Sergeant Stephen Hector told ZIZ News that around 3:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 12, 2012, three residents of Frigate Bay had arrived home and were exiting a vehicle when Warner, Whyte and Syder allegedly approached them with drawn handguns and demanded money from them.

Hector stated that the residents told the alleged intended robbers that they had no money in their possession and the men fled the scene. None of the Frigate Bay residents were harmed.

The matter was later reported at the Frigate Bay Police Station and, following a two-week investigation, the three men were arrested on Sunday (May 27) and subsequently charged with assault with intent to rob.
