Thynel Martin opening ceremony

(Sports Page)— The 4th edition of the Sports Museum week climaxed on Friday 11th July.

On that day, former top athlete on Nevis, Thynel Martin was honoured posthumously.

Pictures and trophies of the former athlete were donated to the Museum by his family.

His Mom, Sheryl Sutton was in attendance and thanked the organizers of the Sports Museum week for recognizing the contributions made by her son.

A poem that she said in honour of Thynel at the opening ceremony, will also be added to the Museum’s permanent memory.
