Tonito Willet takes the fight out of Warriors

The action in the tape ball league hosted by the Department of Sports and sponsored by the Development Bank of St.Kitts and Nevis continued at the ET Willet Park on Thursday night.

Butlers’ females failed to show for the second consecutive match and are therefore out of the competition, effectively gifting some free points to the Nurses team.

However, in match two, the youthful J. Warriors team came in for a thrashing  at the hands of the experienced Pennyless All stars team and more particularly from Leeward islands all rounder, Tonito Willet.

All Stars batted first and scored a record 156 for 4 in their 10 overs.  Tonito Willet 102 not out at the end, hitting 11 maximums and 3 fours.

Alex Williams scored 37

For the Warriors, Harvey Liburd, Quinito Griffin and Sean Hanley all picked up one wicket each.

J. Warriors when they batted could only muster 51 for 8 from their 10 overs. Harvey Liburd was 22 not out at the end.

Junie Williams, Jamie Cornelius and Philo Wallace all got 1 wicket each

Pennyless Alls winning by all of 105 runs
