Traffic guidelines for music festival

With the hosting of the St. Kitts Music Festival at its new venue at the Kim Collins Stadium in Bird Rock, measures have been put in place to ensure easy access to the stadium.

According to chairman of the Music Festival’s Security Subcommittee, Superintendant Cromwell Henry, as is done with all events at the stadium, traffic will flow in one direction around the stadium.

Supt. Henry said there is a main area designated for general parking as has been done in previous years for the festival.

He outlined other areas that will be available for parking in the Bird Rock area.

He said there will be designated parking areas inside the stadium for persons with Vip car passes

Supt. Henry said the Music Festival Committee will offer special access passes to persons living in the area who will be affected by the traffic restrictions. These passes will allow those persons to pass the checkpoints to get to their homes.
