Traumatic shock cause of death of motor cyclist

ZIZ News…Feb. 11, 2013 — On Monday 11th February 2013, an autopsy was performed on the body of 30 year old Lesford Ryan alias “Wifey” of Sandy Point.

The result of the autopsy carried out by resident pathologist Dr. Dora Marina Magdoriaja stated that death was caused by traumatic shock due to road accident.

Mr. Ryan was riding his motorbike from Fig Tree going towards the Island Main Road in Sandy Point when he lost control of the bike, hitting a drain on the eastern side of the road and collided with an electrical pole.

Ryan was pronounced dead at the scene by the district medical doctor Norgen Wilson.

The Traffic Department reminds motorists to always exercise care and caution when using the road and drive within the speed limit.

Riders are also reminded to wear head gears when operating a motorbike.

The Police at the Sandy Point Police Station are presently investigating the traffic accident which occurred along the By Pass Road leading to Fig Tree, Sandy Point at about 12:30 PM on 9/2/2013

This is the first road fatality in St. Kitts for 2013.
