Tucker Clarke Primary and George Moody Stuart win 2019 Rotary Club of Liamigua Primary School Spelling Bee
Basseterre, St. Kitts, October 18, 2019 (ZIZ News): Two winners emerged from the 2019 Rotary Club of Liamigua Primary School Spelling Bee on Thursday October 17.
Kaylia Charles of the Tucker Clarke Primary School and Khalil Burroughs of George Moody Stuart Primary beat out twenty-one of their competitors to claim the 2019 Spelling Bee championship title.
As per the rules of the competition, if two persons go head to head until the 20th round of the competition, both competitors will be named co-champions.
Aijalon Connor of the Edgar T Morris Primary School placed second.
All participants received a certificate for participating in the annual Spelling Bee competition.
The competition was held in the Sir Cecil Jacobs Auditorium at the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank.
