Tuckett thrashes returning Nationals
Carl Tuckett blazed his way to an exciting half century and just missed out on a ton when his team comfortably chased down the target set by the Returning Nationals team.
The match was played as part of the recently concluded Culturama 40 (C-40) celebrations at the ET Willet Park between the Returning Nationals team and the reigning Leewards Islands Masters’ team champions—Nevis.
The Returning Nationals batted first and got to a competitive total of 135 for 5.
The Nevis Masters lost just two wickets en route to a comprehensive victory, led by Captain Carl Tuckett who blazed the cricket ball to all parts of the park.
He was unbeaten on 92, when the dust settled.
