Two charged in relation to firearm

ZIZ News…16th May 2013 — Kelvin Pemberton of Stapleton Village was formally charged for Possession of Firearm and Possession of Ammunition which were allegedly committed on 14th May 2013.

Nizamudin Jammaludin of New Road Housing Project was formally charged for Transferring Firearm and Transferring Ammunition which were allegedly committed on 14th May 2013.

Karim Douglas of Gibbons Hill, Dieppe Bay was formally charged for Wounding, Assault and Threatening Language which were allegedly committed on 12th May 2013 at Gibbons Hill.

Tobe Cannonier and Jason Farrel of Parson Village were formally charged for Disorderly Conduct by Fighting which was allegedly committed on 13th May 2013.

Meanwhile, Trevor Willette of Pond Road was convicted for the offence of two (2) Larceny which was committed on 12th December 2012 and 13th December 2013 at Kings Pavilion. He was sentenced to serve one (1) month in prison at hard labour which was committed on 13th December 2012 and for Larceny charge committed on 12 December 2012, he was sentenced to serve two (2) months in prison at hard labour. Both Sentences will run concurrently.

In other news, the Violent Crime Unit is currently seeking the assistance of the general public in locating a silver Mitsubishi RVR Jeep PA7687 which was owned by the murder victim Kishmoy Challenger formally of Pond Hill. The vehicle was taken from the scene during the incident and it is now missing.
