Two young men caught with house breaking implements among several arrests made by police

ZIZ News…Oct 10, 2012 — Bisrate Battice of Taylor’s Village and Terrence Martin of Taylor’s Housing were both formally charged for Possession of House Breaking Implements committed on 7th October 2012.

Meanwhile, Derrick Newton of Mad House Alley, Basseterre was formally charged for the offence of Armed With An Offensive Weapon committed on 5th October 2012.

In other arrests made William Steven of Saddler’s Village was formally charged for the offence of Receiving committed on 8th October 2012 and Karamo Gould of Nevis Street was formally charged for the offence of Illegal Entry committed on 30th September 2012.

Alex Thompson of Brown Hill was formally charged for the offence of Possession of Cannabis committed on 5th October 2012.

Meantime at the St Christopher Circuit Court Baba Tunda Sami Lola Alonge was convicted for three counts of False Pretense committed on 13th June 2012 and was fined $5000 to be paid by 5th November 2012 or in default spend one year in prison.

Evans Amory was convicted for two counts of Indecent Assault committed on 17th July 2012 and was sentenced to ten years imprisonment.

Xavier Elliot and Junior Stevens were convicted for Robbery and three counts of Assault with Intent to Rob committed on 28th June 2012. Xavier Elliot was sentenced to seventeen years imprisonment for Robbery and one year for each count of Assault with Intent to Rob which will run concurrently with the sentence for Robbery. This sentence to run consecutively with his previous sentence. Junior Stevens was sentenced to fifteen years for Robbery and one year for each count of Assault with Intent to Rob which will run concurrently with the sentence for Robbery.
