Tyson and Browne slam centuries in Drawn Encounter

The match was played on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th April, at the ET Willet Park.

Empire batted first and on the back of a commanding century by Kejel Tyson, declared their innings closed at 220 for 8. The experienced left arm leg spinner, Frank Monzac, bagged a fiver for the Pioneers team.

When the Pioneers team batted, they were skittled out for 116, compliments of an astounding spell of bowling from Justin Athanaze who picked up 4 wickets for a mere 6 runs.

Empire batting a second time, declared their innings at 218 for 4. This time around, Andre Browne slammed an undefeated century.

Chasing an improbable 323 for a victory target, Pioneers held out to be 154 for 4 when the match was called off.
