U.S. carriers brought in most passengers into St. Kitts Bradshaw airport in June

Basseterre, St. Kitts (CUOPM) — American Airlines, which operates 12 flights per week from Miami International and New York’s JFK International, continues to be the leading passenger carrier into St. Kitts’ Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport.

According to the St. Christopher Air and Sea Ports Authority (SCASPA), of the 11, 398 passengers who arrived here in June 2014, American Airlines brought in 6,130 persons on 52 incoming flights, while 5,264 passengers of the 10,137 persons departed on 53 outgoing flights operated by the U.S. carrier.

Combined with US Airways and Miami Air, U.S. carriers account for 6,742 of the 11,398 passengers.

LIAT – the Caribbean airline – brought in 3,109 passengers on 164 flights; British Airways, 730 passengers on 8 flights; U.S. Airways, 468 passengers on 4 flights; Seabourne Airlines, 425 on 59 incoming flights; WINAIR, 194 passengers on 48 flights; 124 passengers on 2 Miami Air charters; 124 passengers on 27 Trans Anguilla flights and 55 passengers on 60 incoming private flights.
