Unity Patriots stop Unstoppable as battle for Constituency #7 Domino League supremacy intensifies

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, October 2, 2019 (PLP PR Media Inc.) — With the exception of one game, on Tuesday October 1st the third segment in the second round of the 24th edition of the annual Constituency Number Seven Dr the Hon Timothy Harris Domino League competition saw competing teams return very close results.

At the Edgar Gilbert Sports Complex pavilion in Molineux, defending champions Parsons Domino Club who had travelled from Constituency Number Six were by met by an unexpected resistance from a team that has not being doing very well, Molineux Domino Club, but managed to squeeze a narrow 13-12 win.

Small Corner Bar Domino Club went to Sylvers Bar in Hidden Alley, Lodge Project, to face home team Sylvers Domino Club and were unexpectedly held back by the fighting spirits of their hosts. Small Corner players were forced to fight tooth and nail and at the end of the encounter they recorded another narrow 13-12 win.

Christchurch Domino Club, whose home base is Domino House in Mansion Village, left the comfort of their home ground and travelled to the Lodge Community Centre in Lodge Project where they faced Guinness Domino Club. At the end of the encounter, Christchurch secured a 13-10 win.

Another 13-10 win was recorded when past champions Unity Patriot Domino Club, playing at home at Cuban Bar in Lodge Project managed to stop Unstoppable Domino Club a team that is running neck and neck with the defending champions Parsons in terms of point standings.

Giants Domino Club travelled to Constituency Number Six, and at Shanty Bar in Saddlers Village faced the home team Saddlers Domino Club and returned to back to Constituency Number Seven with a 13-8 win.

Fourth segment of play in the second round of the 24th edition of the annual Constituency Number Seven Dr the Hon Timothy Harris Domino League will be on Thursday October 3 at five venues.

Defending champions Parsons will be at home at Back Way Bar in Parsons Ground to Sylvers; Unity Patriots will also be at home to Giants at Cuban Bar in Lodge Project; Small Corner Bar and Molineux will face it off at the Edgar Gilbert Sports Complex pavilion in Molineux; Christchurch will travel to Shanty Bar in Saddlers Village to meet home team Saddlers; and Guinness and Unstoppable will be meeting at the Lodge Community Centre in Lodge Project.
