Three men: Cecil Charles of Stapleton Housing, Glendale Hendrickson and Tavis Francis both of Old Road were fatally wounded in the wee hours of this morning (Saturday) following a shooting incident at the popular entertainment spot, the Frigate Bay Strip.

ZIZ news caught up with Press and Public Relations officer attached to the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force Inspector Lyndon David who confirmed that three men had been killed and others injured in the shooting incident.

“Currently, the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force is carrying out an investigation into an incident that took place in the Frigate Bay area wherein three persons were fatally wounded and we had others who were wounded and taken to the hospital for medical attention,” Inspector David said, adding that “This thing happened in the early hours of the morning, sometime after 3:00, 3am.”

Meanwhile, last night (Friday) at around 8pm, ZIZ news responded to a report of a shooting at Conaree. Upon arrival at the scene, several police officers were seen processing the scene and directing the flow of vehicular traffic.

David said while injuries were sustained, no one was killed in Friday night’s shooting incident.

“The incident in Conaree, this took place early evening, somewhere around 7:45 last night. One person was injured in that shooting incident and we are pursuing that information. The person is currently in the hospital,” he explained.
