UWI Lecture – “Issues Of Aging”

(ZIZ)– The University of the West Indies’ [UWI] Open Campus, in collaboration with the Ripple Institute, will be hosting its second lecture, “Issues of Aging.”

Presenter Pat Leader will speak on the topic ‘Public Education on the Care of the Elderly’.

The event will take place on the 10th September at 7pm at the University of the West Indies’ Open Campus site at The Gardens in Basseterre.

UWI’s Senior Administrative Assistant, Grace La Place spoke about the first lecture which was held earlier this year.

She said it was well attended and she is expecting to see a similar turnout at next week’s lecture.

“The last event in June, I understand, was well attended with a packed house and we’re expecting that this one will be no different,” she said.

La Place is inviting the general public to attend the event.
