Basseterre, St. Kitts, May 29, 2019 (ZIZ News): The Verchild’s High school was named the 2019 SCASPA “Best In Class” High School Quiz champion on Tuesday, May 28, 2019.
Team Verchild’s High school defeated the Washington Archibald High School to claim the top spot at the Sir Cecil Jacobs Auditorium on Tuesday evening.
Both schools went head to head to earn the top scores in several rounds namely; English language, Integrated Science, Mathematics, Local History and Geography, SCASPA Affairs, Current Affairs and the Wild Round.
Each member of the Washington Archibald High School’s team received a cheque of 250 dollars each while each member of the Verchild’s High School received a cheque in the sum of 375 dollars each.
The Verchild’s High was also presented with a cheque in the amount of $1500.
