ZIZ News…June 2 2012 — Kirk Hobson alias Scotty presented himself to the Basseterre Police Station about 15minutes before 6pm today the 2nd of June 2012.

The Commmissioner of Police Mr. C G Walwyn whilst in flight on his return to the Federation issued a Press Release to the Public indicating that a Man Hunt would commence at 6pm.

Immediately upon his arrival strategic meetings were held and at approximately 5:45 pm Kirk Hobson presented himself to the Basseterre Police Station. The Commissioner of Police Mr C G Walwyn is pleased with the support of the media given to the organisation and in particular the improved Media Efforts made by SKN VYBES. He is however thankful to the immediate family and to the community at large for their support and efforts made in the investigation thus far.

Commissioner Walwyn has notified the relevant law enforcement agencies of Kirk Hobson’s arrival at the Basseterre Police Station but however wishes to notify the public that a high level of vigilance will be maintained as investigations into the two most recent shootings continue.

We urge the public therefore to continue to apply the concepts of community policing and neighbourhood watch as we continue to execute our mandate of ensuring that the security, safety, peace and tranquility of the Federation is maintained.
