Eastern Caribbean Forecast: Some remnant moisture and instability  lingering in the atmosphere over the Northern Caribbean will maintain a  moderate chance of showers under generally cloudy skies over Puerto Rico and  the Virgin Islands. Meanwhile, dry air persisting over the Southern Caribbean  will continue to restrict shower activity across the Windwards south to Trinidad  today. However, a gradual increase in moisture and instability tonight from an  approaching tropical wave will increase the chances of showers to moderate  under mostly cloudy skies. The Leeward Islands will remain under the influence  high pressure and hence the chances of showers will remain low with partly  cloudy skies prevailing.
