Eastern Caribbean Forecast: A westward-moving surface trough will cause a heightened chance of showers over the Leeward Islands this morning. As the trough moves quickly westwards, these conditions will spread over the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico by later this afternoon as improved conditions are anticipated over the Leeward Islands. Similar conditions are expected over Trinidad and Tobago and the southern Windwards due to the availability of deep layered moisture. The rest of the islands will see generally partly cloudy skies with the possibility of brief passing showers due to lower moisture levels.
