Woman Police Constable awarded Police Officer of the year

ZIZ News…July 6 2011 – Service Organizations in St. Kitts and Nevis continue to show tangible support to the police in various ways.

On Sunday 3rd July 2011 The Rotary Club of Liamuiga held their Installation Dinner at the Nirvana Restaurant situated at the Fair View Guest House and Botanical Gardens formally Fair View Inn.

No. 558 WPC Allison Rouse of the Tourist Patrol Unit attended the dinner as the police nominee for the Police Officer of the Year Award.

Later that evening, President of the Rotary Club of Liamuiga Mr. Eustace Warner had the pleasure of awarding WPC Allison Rouse as Police Office of the Year for her dedicated and outstanding service.

According to a release, for this distinction WPC Allison Rouse received $1000.00 along with the award. Members of the Rotary Club and well wishers joined the Commissioner of Police Mr. Austin Williams and the High Command of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force in congratulating WPC Allison Rouse for her outstanding and dedicated service.

The Commissioner of Police also extended special thanks to the Rotary Club of Liamuiga for their consistency in partnering with the Police in this tangible way. Last year the Rotary Club of Liamuiga awarded Police Constable Dexter Jacobs as Police Officer of the Year. Dexter Jacobs has since been promoted to Corporal.
