Working For You” Debuts on ZIZ Radio

(ZIZ News) – The new government radio programme, “Working for You”, debuted on Wednesday afternoon on ZIZ Radio 96.1 FM and the country’s Prime Minister, the Hon. Dr. Timothy Harris has fully endorsed it.

He said, “I was particularly impressed when you explained to the public what this “Working for You” programme is about and for me, it is a special delight for me to be here as the chief servant of the people and giving life and meaning to what “Working for You” is all about. So thank you again for having me as the first guest on this critically important people’s programme.”

In his introductory remarks, Host Lesroy Williams said the programme offers news, views and updates on the work of the Team UNITY Administration.

He said it’s a show with a difference that is opened to residents and nationals of St. Kitts and Nevis.

“This is another avenue to continue the dialogue between government and the people regarding how to bring a new era of prosperity for all, regardless of last name, where you come from or party affiliation,” Williams stated.

“This show is unique in that the guests will be of course the leadership of the government including the Prime Minister…members of Cabinet and other senior civil servants,” he added.

Listeners to ZIZ Radio are encouraged to call-in and share their concerns and opinions.

“We want the people of St. Kitts and Nevis to know that their government is working. It is not just working, it is working for you. The purpose of this show is to share with the people of St. Kitts and Nevis that their government is working to make their lives better. It is also a time for individuals to call in and to share with the government any idea, question or concern that they have,” Williams continued.
