World renowned educator says children can’t dream what they can’t see

Basseterre, St. Kitts, January 8, 2020 (ZIZ News): Motivational speaker Dr Freeman A. Hrabowski has challenged the people of St. Kitts and Nevis with the task of giving educational exposure to the nation’s children.

He said this is a form of investment in education as it allows children to dream about goals and a variety of career paths.

Dr. Hrabowski advised government and education officials to consider introducing the youth to successful scientists, engineers and mathematicians from across the region to experience the world of work before they leave school.

He said the people of St. Kitts and Nevis must make it necessary to “celebrate young people and their accomplishments as much as we celebrate our music – as much as we celebrate door prizes and be as powerful in your passion for education.”
