Basseterre, St. Kitts, June 17th, 2020 (ZIZ News) Chairman of the National Covid-19 Task Force Abdias Samuel has echoed the sentiments of Tourism Permanent Secretary Carlene Henry Morton and her call for all tourism stakeholders to do their part in the fight against Covid-19.
During a recent stakeholder meeting, Mr. Samuel said the behaviour of the Tourism stakeholders are what help guide the State of Emergency regulations and consistent compliance could lead to an ease in the regulations.
The most recent State of Emergency regulations allowed for the reopening of bars and restaurants under specific Covid-19 regulations.
This move has been described as part of a gradual reopening of the economy while protecting the public from the spread of the coronavirus.
