Youngsters make waves in Local Trials

Sports Page — Three of Nevis’ youthful cricketers performed creditably on the weekend, as the Nevis trial squad continued its preparations for the upcoming Leeward Islands tournament.

All three players were part of the Leeward Islands under 19 team that participated in the recent regional tournament.

Ross Powell scored 41 and 17 in his two innings; Colin Archibald picked up a five-fer and Theron Bussue got to 31 in his only knock.

The match was played on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st at the ET Willet Park.
